Mamadou Sakho, currently a young PSG Centre Back has been a target of Arsenal for a while now and according to his agent Arsenal are the “most interested” club but currently are “to cheap” inclining that we have made a bid but have not offered enough.

This is what he had to say:

“He will be moving clubs this summer. Arsenal are interested, but the club are too cheap at the moment,” Hager told Sport.

“Yes, I think a transfer will happen soon. He wants to play football in England and Arsenal are a good club but Manchester United is a better club.”

Hager clears up this muddled message by stating that Manchester United are not yet interested in the player.

“But the most interested club is Arsenal, they want him the most. Bayern Munich is a top European club, so I think it will be Bayern or Arsenal,” added Hager.

As it says above Bayern Munich are next in the que to sign him, but Arsenal ook the firm favourties.

Would he make a good signing?

In my personal opinion he would make a great signing because he has already showed the class needed to be a great CB. He is tall and strong which suits the premier league and would be with us for a few years to come being such a young age.

Can we secure him though?

Yes. But we have to pay the right price. Knowing Wenger he has probably placed a bid of around £6 million which ins’t enough, they will probably say they want £10 but he will offer £8 and get him. Definitely worth £8 million though.
