What has the footballing world got to; Man Utd have accepted a bid for £80 million for Ronaldo and have given the player permission to talk to real!
This is true becasue it has come of their official website saying:
Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of £80million for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
At Cristiano’s request – who has again expressed his desire to leave – and after discussion with the player’s representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player.
Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June. The club will not comment until further notice.

Unfortunately it will mean the decline of English football I fear. Now the world’s three best players, Kaka, Messi and Ronaldo are playing in the same league. It will be interesting to see whether they can gel as a team.
I think Man U will suffer next year, he has saved their bacon time and time again.

The boy is good but not 80 million good. Man U have dragged the premier league price insanity that kaka was not prepared to be a part of. Henry was a better player long term. I’m happy his leaving. Diving stats will drop and so will man u on the table that matters. As much as I like barcelona too, I think the spanish league needs some serious competition or their domination and style will goble the spanish league as arsenal is doing.
