ADEBAYOR GETS HIS WORK PERMIT GRANTED! £25 MILLION NEARLY BANKED! + Demba lined up as replacement!
Adebayor has had his work permit in Manchester approved as his £25 million pound move edges ever closer. I am still left biting my nails until this goes through because £25 million is such a great amount of money that we could acquire some good good players with. The deal was due to be finished today but now should be concluded by tomorrow, hopefully so we don’t have to wait until Man City’s pre-season tour to South Africa is over.
A few more names have been thrown into the hat of the possible replacements:
Demba Ba
He is a big 24 year old striker currently playing for German club Hoffenheim. Many people have suggested he is “the next best thing” in Europe and could turn out to be another Theiry Henry?
The Daily Mail today suggested Arsenal were already in talks with Hoffenheim over his signature and at 1.9 metres tall he certainly has got the height issue sorted. The Mail also suggested a transfer was 4 out of 5 on to go through or 90%. No offence but much better than Chamakh!

uuum….who is this demba guy??….no offence to him or any or wenger…but y not go for the proven striker huntelaar??… if we do get 25 mil for ADE we should be able to get huntelaar and cana come on wenger…please…plus i think we would make recently one of our most loyal players very happy too…HUNTELAAR PLEASE!

Yeah i agree with JA Gunner, get Huntelaar if its possible… there would be dutch of Klaas up front with Huntelaar and RVP then. But this guy I heard is good, seen no footage though so can’t comment 100%

Huntelaar is the option I would love (BTW I wrote the post) but realistically if Wenger spent a month negotiating for £15 million for Arshavin do you think hes gonna spend £17 million on a striker who didnt work in spain. I doubt it. But Demba ba is a good players dont worry about that!

What is holding up Ade’s move? Cant wait for his lazy a** to ship out. Demba could be a good replacement considering the suprise factor he’ll carry, plus with him we’ll have enough money to buy a decent defensive midfield player- where it really matters.

hmm….i saw his hatrick against stuttgart left and right foot finishing…i like him… looks like he times his runs to perfection which is more than i can say for ADE…finishing reminds me of henry too….but i wonder if he can do tht week in week out…im calm about wenger getting this guy now…wenger knows..GUNNER 4 LIFE
