Toure deal nearly done, Hangeland expected to be the replacement + Huntelaar deal heats up
Over the past week various newspapers have reported that Toure was closing in on a move to Man City. Until this morning I haven’t reported it because I believed it to be mostly papers eyeing up stories but this morning 4 or 5 papers some across the web have reported the story all saying a £15 million fee has been arranged with personal terms of around £120,000 a week for Kolo.
The Daily Mail and St have printed that if the deal completes (as it is expected to) Arsenal will be moving for Brede Hangeland of Fulham for around £10 million.
Huntelaar deal has other suitors
Yesterday afternoon AC Milan confirmed that if they were to buy a striker Huntelaar would be on the list they may enquire about. If Wenger is seriously thinking of buying him please get a move on.

toure is shit now anyway. Get £15m and ill be laughing! that said we do need a replacement. I dont think we can get hangeland but i would like to see him at arsenal– we should get bassong from newcastle!

I will be very stupid to let one of my best defenders leave this team, don’t believe the papers, they are all rumours. Kolo is a great guy and he is solid deefensively, he is not going anywhere.

yes we will get good money for toure and we should be able to get hangeland for 10 million together with bassong for another 10 million and sell gallas for 6 million before the guy walks for free next summer i mean he refused to sign a new contract and he says he will walk for free if arsenal dont let him go this summer. get the money while we can. and yes wenger should be replacing adebayor with huntelaar already and please buy a dm for example miguel veloso i thiught wenger would have bought cana but his gone to the black cats and if not veloso another dm. if we make those signings i know we will be serious contenders for the premier leugue . hope your reading this arsene wenger becauise you really should think and act about it!

I will miss Toure, he has been a terrific servant to the club. The last of the “invincibles”! But £15 million for a 28yr old who cost us £150,000 and has already given us over 6 years of service is just too good to turn down!
We will HAVE to buy a replacement though. Hangeland would be the ideal guy. He would finally solve our aerial problems. I hope Wenger can pursuade him to come this season even if we won’t start every game. Gallas will be off next season though so he and Djourou or Vermaelen would be a dynamite partnership!
Oh and a word on Huntelaar, I don’t quite think he is a Wenger sort of player. He finishes moves very well but he does not really get involved with the link-up play.
Wenger loves guys who get involved, drop deep and help the midfield.
I think we should stop hoping he will sing him because I don’t see it heppening.
Also we don’t need aother striker. Bendtner will step up this season and score 20 odd in all comps. Eduardo will score 30+ in all comps and RvP will get 25. Walcott and Vela will chip in with a few too!! Arshavin will be our high scoring midfielder with 15+.

I don’t have it either but this is what wenger said:
“We will see what’s happening in the next 24 hours, nothing is decided yet,” said Wenger.
“We have seven centre-backs and I am in the position where I have to play some in midfield but of course Kolo is a very good player and we will see what will happen in the next 24 hours.”

gutted to see toure go but its cos of the money so good riddens. hope we ign huntelaar but lets be realistic, arsene isnt up for a transfer battle. love to see hangeland but he said earlier this month that he wont be going to arsenal. maybe naldo instead. i would love to see hulk playing for us but he costs to much.
