Senderos to Everton nearly wrapped up + Arsenal move for rivals striker!
Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos is reported to have agreed a switch to Everton.
The Swiss centre-half has slipped down the pecking order at Emirates Stadium in recent times, and spent the 2008/09 season on loan at AC Milan.
Despite the Gunners having offloaded Kolo Toure to Manchester City this summer,Arsene Wenger has moved to snap upThomas Vermaelen from Ajax.
That has ensured that first-team opportunities will prove hard to come by for Senderos this season.
With only one year remaining on his current contract, the Swiss ace is therefore expected to be on his way before the transfer window slams shut.
A move to Goodison Park appears to be on the cards, with a deal believed to already be in place.
The Swiss Football Federation have claimed on their official website that the 24-year-old has agreed a move to the Toffees.
They claim Senderos is keen on a switch to Mersey side as he eyes a place at next summer’s World Cup.
We move for Kalou
“The Sun” are reporting this morning that we have made a £6 million bid for Chelsea striker Kalou although Chelsea want the fee to be more around the £8 million mark. Kalou is 23 years old (although many report him as 28 years old, I am not sure why, my source has come from footballdatabase.com so it’s reliable)
He isn’t a tall player at only 1.75 metres and isn’t the heaviest at 65kg, btu Wenger has always been a keen admirer since his early days at Feyenoord. The question really is does Wenger want Chamakh or Kalou because he won’t be signing both.
Who do you think he’s after? Plus if the Kalou deal suddenly materialises do you think Bordeaux will drop their asking price all of a sudden?

I like kalou but think we have enough up front. Chamakh might be ok but havent seen him play and should only be sined if he can offer something different. Our front 3 will consist from robin, eddy, bendtner, walcott, arshavin, vela n maybe wilshere so I think we have enough there. I do think we will sign someone else who can play in the mid 3 – maybe vieira even if it is just for numbers.

not sure about kalou to be honest. I wouldn’t be unhappy if we signed him but huntelaar would be better IMO.

i like chamakh… watched some bordeux matches yesterday and h’es quite skilled on the ball and alsoheads well…but i dnt see him as an out and out striker…he will miss some chanes…kalou…i like him…but do we need another short stiker??…we should definately go for viera tho!…he dosnt have to play evry single gamr but the confidence the squad will get plus the experience wud be great…and he can help develop song too..GUNNER 4 LIFE
