Hello people, hope your enjoying your weekend thus far, and are anticipating a good win over Blackburn tomorrow. I think the team is performing well but we have to be consistent this season which wasn’t the case last season, to the point where we had so many 0-0 draws in a row it was unbelievable. But this will not happen this season; we have got a good squad at the moment including a fit Arshavin and Rosicky meaning the midfield is as strong as ever with the great ability of Fabregas as well.

Goalkeeping

First things first, push Almunia out – he’s not good enough.

Then give Mannone the gloves, because if he continues to be as good as he has appeared in the first few games of his times at Arsenal then I couldn’t ask for more.

Fabianksi may serve another chance between the posts to show himself but he seemed a bit shaky at times when I’ve seen him before.

The Defence

The defence is looking good at the moment, if we can keep Gallas and Vermalen fit all season we can have one of the best backs of the league. We have got great cover for left back in the form of Gibbs, who in my opinion could push Clichy this season out of his role. I really believe he is that good, although Clichy has got much experience now so I’ll give him the benefit now. Sagna is one of the best Right Backs in the world, and in Eboue we have decent enough cover as well as someone who can dribble better even though his game defensively lacks.

The big concern though is if one of our CB’s gets injured. In my opinion Senderos will not be up to the task seeming he has no match time at all really, and Silvestre is not good enough. I like Djourou, but he is inured for most of the seasons so we need o buy in January, unless Wenger will pull out Nordveit from his loan spell. Nordveit will be one of the bests CB’s in the business.

If we stay injury free though we’are fine!

Midfield

I like Alex Song and every game he is getting better, although he needs some practice against quick dribbling players, which hopeful Walcott can provide in training. If he continues to play as well as he has so far we don’t need to buy in January.

Keeping Fabregas fit is essential; those that play in the Arsenal-highlights fantasy league will know just how many assist he provides and how much work he gets through on the pitch.

If Rosicky can have an injury free season, he will take apart teams such as Blackburn tomorrow. He can also cross the ball which has been a problem in the past, as well as being able to hit edge of the area stunner’s, which the likes of Denilson can’t do, (that goal against Everton was a one off.)

I prefer Arshavin playing the striker role because I believe he’s better there, but he is also great in midfield where I believe Wenger will keep him. I don’t need to say much more on Arshavin , he has it all! Well apart from heading that is but that doesn’t worry me with the likes of Gallas Vermalen and Diaby.

Attack

Van Persie is the main striker, although he needs to find a player that can play alongside him. I would like to see Vela get more first team action because he may be the finisher that can get involved in play as well.

Eduardo is good but I would like to see him be more involved in the build up to goals, like Van Persie is and Bendtner to a lesser extent.

Bendtner is improving and will continue to do so, Wenger has already said he needs to improve his build up play and finishing but I believe Bentdner will turn to a good player for Arsenal in years to come.

Overall then

The team is good but we need one more CB in Januray who is experienced and good enough for back up Vermaelen and Gallas. If so we will win many trophies.
